This policy explains what information Colo Media ("we", "us") collects through colo-media.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at [email protected].
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on our site, we collect what you enter:
- Free market scorecard form: your name, business and trade, email address, monthly marketing budget range, and your biggest marketing challenge.
- ROI calculator form: your name, business and trade, and email address.
With each form submission we also record the page you submitted it from, the page that referred you to our site, and any campaign information in the link you followed (for example, utm_source or gclid parameters).
Numbers you type into our ROI calculators are worked out in your browser. We don't receive them unless you choose to send us your details through the form.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site: which pages they view, how they arrived, their approximate location, and the type of device and browser. Google Analytics uses cookies. Google's use of this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors interact with our pages, through heatmaps and session replays that show clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. We use it to improve our site. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies, and Microsoft may collect personal data from visitors to our site. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors apart from automated spam. Turnstile works in the background. It processes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser information, as described in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting. Our site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most websites, its servers process standard request information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, including preparing the market scorecard or ROI review you asked for.
- To contact you about your request and about our services.
- To understand how our site is used and to improve it.
- To keep our site and forms secure and free of spam.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored in Colo Media's Google Workspace account: a Google Sheet, plus an email notification to our team. Access is limited to the Colo Media team.
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records, and then delete them.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:
- with the service providers named above (Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare), which process it to provide their services
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights
Your choices
- Access, correction or deletion: email [email protected] and we'll respond to your request.
- Follow-up emails: reply to any email from us and ask us to stop contacting you.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above.
Children
Our site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
